ArmyRec Office Burbank is Hiring a Motor Transport Operator Near Lakewood, CA

As Motor Transportation Operator (Transport Operator, you’ll organize and supervise or operate vehicles, assist in organized convoys, dispatch vehicles and verify vehicle logbooks.
The army is going to train you to do this job from zero. The ideal candidate is a person willing to learn new skills. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. All positions are entry-level jobs. The US Army has over 150 different jobs, one is waiting for you. You may qualify for plenty of other jobs too.
General Enlistment:
This job requires military service with a contract for enlistment or commission. This is not an application to a specific position within the military. This job is only an example of a position that you could be placed in after taking a job placement exam.
Enlistment entails that you speak to a recruiter, take a job placement exam, complete a physical exam, choose from the career options that are presented to you, sign a career contract and take the oath of enlistment, and attend boot camp.
Full-time (Active-Duty) Benefits:
  • 30 days paid vacation annually.
  • Complete healthcare coverage for you and your immediate family is provided without cost to you.
  • Education benefits (post 9/11) 100% entitlement worth $75,486.46 at 36 months. Service Tuition/Fees are paid directly to the school. Monthly Housing Allowance, up to $3,354 Los Angeles CA area. Annual stipend up to $1000.00 for books and supplies (both paid to you directly).
  • Tuition Assistance is paid by the US Army directly to the school. $250 per credit / $4000 per year $16,000, over 4 years of college.
  • Montgomery GI Bill up to $ 75,486.46 (Tax-free!). Contributory- you pay $1200 ($100/ month your first year) monthly payments max of $ 2097.00 to you (based on being a part-time or full-time student).
  • Obtain industry-standard recognized certifications.
  • Travel opportunities around the world for you and your immediate family. (You will not live in the Los Angeles, CA area)
  • Complete free dental for you and your immediate family.

Part-time (Army Reserve) Benefits:

Full Paid Training plus benefits:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training.

Minimum requirements:
  • No felonies.
  • Be in good health according to federal regulations.
  • Currently attending High School as a senior, High school graduate, GED, equivalent in your country of origin or higher education.
  • You must meet physical standards based on gender and age, height and weight or BMI in accordance with federal regulations.
  • No tattoos on neck face or hands. (Exceptions may apply, considered on a case-by-case)
  • Have a US state driving license. (Optional)
